ODDS Online has long been a revolutionary tool for option traders. Now with version 6.2, we continue the revolution. The Time Machine gives us the ability to go as far back as March of 2000. This data has literally cost over $100,000 to collect. We now make it available to you at the click of a mouse for a ridiculously low cost. The best part of this new feature is that we have the actual closing bid/ask prices. Many others make historical data available but they use things like last price, (which is practically worthless in illiquid options), or some other calculation to produce a theoretical option price. We only use the real thing. These are the prices at which you could actually buy or sell the option on the day in question. Others don't provide the real thing because it is extremely cumbersome to manage the terabytes of data necessary to keep these actual bid/ask prices. With ODDS Online you will never have to worry about dealing with data. You'll know you are working with the real thing and we take care of all the management for you. We have created a new tool for back testing to go along with the Time Machine. It is called the Trade History Graph. You can now go as far back in time as March 2000, and enter your trade information. You can graphically see the day-by-day value of your trade whether it's a simple call or put trade, or an option combination. ODDS Online is even smart enough to properly use the bid/ask prices correctly, selling on the bid and buying on the ask. New in ODDS Online version 6.2.
We have added a new visual tool for measuring probability in the profit / loss graph. You simply point your mouse at the graph and you instantly know the probability of finishing at that exact point on expiration Friday. This tool is the heart of our analysis. While this graph is new, the concept has been taught by Don for over a decade. "Measure Don't Model" has become our mantra. This tool is just one tool in ODDS Online 6.2 that helps us to accomplish this goal.
